Answering calls day and night, 365 days a year.
Tell me what's happening and I'll ask what I need to, no call centre and no hold music.
Agreed before I set off, so there's nothing to negotiate once I'm on site.
You see exactly what was wrong and that it's sorted, then I tidy up and go.
Jetting feeds a high-pressure water hose down the pipe rather than pushing a rod through it. The pressure cuts through fat, tree roots and compacted debris and flushes the loosened material all the way through the system, instead of just shoving the blockage further along the pipe the way rodding often does. It's particularly effective on older clay drains where roots have worked into the joints, and on kitchen runs that have built up years of grease.
Jetting isn't always the right tool, though, and I check the condition of the run before I use it. A pipe that's already fragile, badly cracked or partly collapsed can be made worse by full-pressure jetting, so I adjust the approach or recommend a different fix if that's what the pipe needs. Where it's useful, I'll follow jetting with a camera check to confirm the run is genuinely clear rather than just pushed along, so you're not calling back out again in a few weeks.

Rods push through a blockage. Jetting uses high-pressure water to actually cut through fat, roots and packed debris and flush it away, rather than just moving it further down the pipe.
It can be, but not always at full pressure. I check the pipe's condition first and adjust accordingly, since jetting an already-fragile or collapsed section can make things worse.
Not always. It's worth it if the same spot keeps blocking, or you want confirmation of what caused it, but plenty of jobs are a straightforward jet and done.
Most single blockages take under an hour once I'm on site. Longer or more complicated runs take longer, and I'll give you a realistic idea on the phone before I start.
Leave your number and a quick note about the problem. I'll ring you straight back, usually within minutes during the day.
